One aspect is the Storm Troopers, which replace the soldiers in the game, and although currently the mod, in it’s unfinished state, is something of a blend between Insurgency and Star Wars (not many Stormtroopers carry automatic rifles, if I recall), the finished product promises to be a total overhaul into the Star Wars universe. The mod is still under development, but the Steam Workshop page has plenty of previews of characters and other elements currently under creation. The mod also goes so far as to introduce new modes and classes, which will totally overhaul the experience.
The mod includes all new weapons and character models, of course, supported by totally new voice acting, sound effects and environments. It fits perfectly at a base level with the Star Wars franchise. It turns Insurgency into a living embodiment of the Star Wars franchise, focusing on The Clone Wars Era and key aspects of it. Insurgency involves incredibly difficult gameplay with some excellent AI opponents, with a focus on strategy and teamwork elements. Star Wars: Galactic Strike is a Total Conversion mod for the game Insurgency. pak 1.6.Insurgency and Star Wars are perhaps not the most obvious of matches, but the engine, gameplay mechanics and mod support has appealed to one group of modders, who are creating this amazing Star Wars: The Clone Wars total conversion mod for the game.
